I contracted Ian Craine & ATOP to re render a commercial property in Strand St. I was interested in using Ian's unique technique which allowed him to re render the complete exterior of the building without having to hack off the existing render. The benefits were substantial. Huge cost savings not only as the work took less than half the time than it would take if you were looking at the traditional method but the knock on savings in reducing the time the scaffold had to be in place. The convenience to the tenant in time and noise so disruption was kept to a minimum and from a health and safety point of view much less risk as nothing was being removed from the existing surface in a very high profile, high street location. Nor was there an additional painters cost as the paint was mixed into the final coat of silicon. The work was started and completed within 6-8 weeks in the heart of the winter and some pretty difficult weather conditions. The outcome is we now have a very presentable building in the heart of Strand St that we can be proud of. I would certainly look to use Ian and ATOP again and would recommend him for commercial or residential work both inside and out.
